A new partnership between Air Peace and global travel technology company Travelport is expected to strengthen travel connectivity between Africa and international destinations by expanding access to the Nigerian airline’s flight inventory.
The agreement, announced on March 1, 2026, allows travel agents worldwide to access Air Peace’s domestic, regional, and international flight inventory through Travelport’s distribution platform.
Through the arrangement, travel agencies across Africa, Europe, and North America will be able to book Air Peace flights in real time, including additional services such as baggage, seat selection, and lounge access.
According to a statement announcing the deal, the partnership is expected to simplify the booking process for travel agents by integrating Air Peace’s services into a global travel marketplace used by agencies around the world.
The Kenya Association of Travel Agents said the integration would remove the challenges associated with navigating multiple booking systems when arranging West African routes.
The group noted that the system would make it easier to plan travel between Nairobi and Lagos, with further connections to cities such as London, Mumbai and Guangzhou.
Officials also said the partnership aligns with Air Peace’s fleet expansion under its chairman, Allen Onyema, which includes aircraft such as the Embraer 195-E2 and Boeing 737 MAX.
The agreement is also expected to support travel for business, tourism, and diaspora communities by improving access to the airline’s routes.
Industry stakeholders noted that improved digital distribution will help African airlines strengthen their competitiveness and expand their reach in international markets.
