United Nigeria Airlines has rewarded three passengers with newly released Samsung Galaxy smartphones as part of a promotional campaign organised in partnership with Samsung. The Samsung phone giveaway took place on Monday, June 1, aboard selected Lagos–Abuja and Abuja–Lagos flights.
The initiative, known as the “Awesome Row” partnership, gave passengers the opportunity to experience Samsung’s latest mobile devices while travelling and offered selected travellers a chance to win prizes through an onboard lucky dip. The winners of the promotion were Hamid Ibrahim, Chidi Chinedu, and Gbenga Bello, who emerged successful after being randomly selected during the in-flight exercise.
Beyond the prize presentation, passengers on the participating flights were given exclusive access to Samsung’s newly introduced Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 smartphones. The onboard experience allowed travellers to interact with the devices during the journey before winners were selected through a live draw conducted on the aircraft.
The Samsung phone giveaway formed part of a broader customer engagement initiative aimed at enhancing passenger experience while introducing travellers to the latest consumer technology offerings. Commenting on the programme, United Nigeria Airlines Chief Commercial Officer, Dayo Olawuyi, said the promotion reflected the airline’s commitment to delivering memorable experiences for customers.
