Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organisation, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be bandits, security sources said on Thursday.

According to a post on social media by security analyst Bakatsine, more than 30-armed men stormed Gusau’s residence in Gusau town and forcibly took him away in the presence of his wife.
The assault on Gusau’s home occurred on Thursday when a large group of heavily armed men allegedly entered the compound and overwhelmed any resistance before removing the campaign leader.
Bakatsine said security agencies were notified immediately after the attack, but efforts to locate or rescue the victim had not yielded results as of the latest reports.
