Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, has reiterated that he has nothing to hide and is prepared to appear before any court whenever required by law, insisting that the issues surrounding his academic records should be resolved through the judicial process rather than media speculation.

In a statement released by his legal team, Nnaji said he remains fully committed to due process and has consistently maintained that the courts not newspaper headlines or social media commentary are the proper forum for determining disputed facts.

He noted that he has never sought to evade legal proceedings and expressed confidence that an impartial hearing would provide every party the opportunity to present evidence before a court of competent jurisdiction.

According to the statement, public commentary has, in several instances, blurred the distinction between allegations, investigations and established legal findings, thereby creating misconceptions about the true status of the matter.

The legal team emphasized that the former minister respects the authority of the courts and will continue to pursue all available legal remedies within the framework of the Constitution.

It further urged Nigerians to avoid reaching conclusions before the completion of judicial proceedings, stressing that every citizen is entitled to the presumption of innocence and the protection of due process.

Nnaji reaffirmed his confidence in Nigeria’s justice system, expressing optimism that the courts will ultimately determine the issues based solely on facts and the applicable law.

The statement concluded by appealing for restraint from all parties, urging the public to allow the legal process to run its full course without undue external influence.
