The Osun State Government has recruited 526 teachers for public primary and secondary schools across the state, with successful applicants scheduled to begin collecting their appointment letters from Monday, March 9, 2026.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi. The statement confirmed that the names of the first batch of successful applicants had been released.
According to the statement, successful candidates are expected to collect their appointment letters starting Monday, March 9, 2026.
Applicants can check the list of successful candidates online or at designated government offices within the state. These locations include:
- The Osun State Civil Service Commission
- The Ministry of Education
- The Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM)
- The State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) headquarters in Osogbo
The government said the recruitment exercise is aimed at strengthening teaching capacity in public schools across the state.
Governor Ademola Adeleke congratulated the successful applicants and urged them to see the opportunity as a chance to contribute to the development of the education sector in Osun State.
He also commended applicants for their patience and cooperation throughout the recruitment process.
